The Queen Mary in Long Beach
The RMS Queen Mary is a retired
ocean liner that sailed in the North Atlantic for
the Cunard Line between 1936 and 1967. When the Queen Mary
was retired in 1967, it was relocated to the Port of
Long Beach in Southern California where it was
permanently moored and converted into a museum
and hotel. Today it is one of the most popular and most
visited attractions in Long Beach.
In the above picture, the Queen Mary is the ship on the right with the three red and black smokestacks. The ship on the left is docked at the Carnival Cruise Terminal that is located near the Queen Mary.
