The Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center was built in 1962
on the site of the former Long Beach Municipal
Auditorium. It was significantly expanded in 1994 and today
it has more then 400,000 square feet of exhibit and meeting space,
two theaters, 34 meeting rooms, and an arena for sports events
and concerts,

WYLAND MURAL:
- Round building wrapped with "Planet Ocean" mural by Wyland
- Mural is 116,000 square feet, was dedicated July 9, 1992
- On Earth Day 2009 Wyland added earth mural on the roof

- Seats 13,500 for basketball
- Seats 11,200 for ice hockey
- Seats 4,550 to 13,500 for concerts
- Has 19,000 to 75,000 square feet of exhibit space
- Hosted volleyball events of the 1984 Olympics
Terrace Theater
- Full production theater that seats 3,051
- Lobby has glass front with view of a fountain
- East side of the theater has an ocean view
Center Theater
Horseshoe shaped theater that seats 825 in 13 rows
Long Beach Convention Center
- Three exhibit halls with 224,000 square feet of space
- Exhibit Hall A: 91,000 square feet
- Exhibit Hall B: 57,000 square feet
- Exhibit Hall C: 76,000 square feet
- Also has 34 meeting rooms and a grand ballroom

Where Is The Long Beach Convention Center?
The Long Beach Convention Center and Entertainment Complex
is located at 3000 East Ocean Boulevard, on the corner
of Ocean Boulevard and Pine Avenue. Most visitors take
the San Diego Freeway (405 Freeway) to the Long Beach Freeway
(710 Freeway) to access the Long Beach Convention Center
