Aquarium of the Pacific
Features more then 11,000 creatures including more then 500 different species. The aquarium has three main areas: Southern California and Baja, the Northern Pacific, and the Tropical Pacific. Two of the most popular exhibits are the Shark Lagoon and the Lorikeet Forest. The facility's largest tank is 350,000 gallons in size. The Aquarium of the Pacific was formerly known as the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific and it first opened in 1998.
